UNRULY: A Book Talk with Antoinette Cooper
Presented by The University Seminar on Narrative, Health, and Social Justice

Wednesday, March 26, 2025
7:00-8:30 PM

Faculty House, Columbia University
64 Morningside Drive, New York, NY

Join for an evening of conversation as we explore UNRULY, a powerful debut that weaves personal and ancestral memory with historical narratives of medical racism to tell a story of Black women's experiences of American medicine, bodily autonomy, and collective healing.

Following readings from UNRULY, I'll engage in dialogue with the seminar chairs before opening to audience Q&A. This event offers a space to explore how poetry can serve as both witness and medicine, naming wounds while creating pathways toward healing.

Copies of UNRULY will be available for purchase and signing.

RSVP required by March 21st

Faculty House is best accessed by the 116th street entrance next to Wien Hall.
